Deformed. Devious. Depraved.
Some strange monster looking creature gets fished out of a sewage plant and the thing is worth big bucks on the black market, causing two rival collectors to fight for the abnormal fetus looking things, who starts to come to life.
This is a very goofy output by Full Moon and Charles Band. The creatures are disgusting looking, but they don’t really scare you or bring any fun to the show. The story is unengaging, the actors are bad and there’s too many scenes of the two rival collectors trying to convince these creatures on who they should belong to and it’s just a big bore.
Jacqueline Lovell (Nude Bowling Party, Exotic House of Wax) is the only actor I enjoyed in this flick and that’s mostly because she is pretty damn hot. There is very little gore or blood in this and it’s more a comedic piece than horror. Band does what he normally does with this and it doesn’t bring out any new creativity or anything from the guy, but is rather a typical affair from Full Moon.
Hideous! is a below average movie even for Full Moon. It’s not worth seeing unless you are a huge fan of the company. The only good parts of the film is that it does sometimes become so goofy that you can’t help but laugh a little, but other than that, skip it.
